Welcome, and thank you for choosing to play Rouges of Gotham. Your mission is as follows. You are to either choose an existing Batman Rouge (villain), or create one for yourself. Here are the rules for the characters of Rouges of Gotham
1. No two persons may play as the same established villain. (Also, if you create your own villain, they must be nothing like the established villains, i.e. you may not have a jester character and call him The Clown, and have him act like the joker. No dice. There may be similarities, but they should be obviously different characters.)
2. If your character is inactive after a month, we will either
a) If the character is an established villain, let someone else take that character
or b) if the character is a newly created character, put them in hiatus until you come back, if you choose not to come back, in hiatus they will remain
3. You must stay true to the character you choose to play as, if you do not and you do not explain the reason behind it, there is going to be a point deduction, i.e. having Poison Ivy kill a bunch of plants for no reason, having Mr. Freeze walk out into the sunlight without his suit on. If you decide to create your own character, that's awesome, but after reading your work we're going to get a sense of what your character is like, and we would like that you stay true to him/her as well.
4. No god-moding. This is going to be a big rule in the role-playing rules, but it also needs to be said for character creation. You cannot make your characters ultra powerful. This counts for established characters too. You are playing as an established character, they aren't gods in the cannon universe, they won't be gods here.
5. Your characters will not start off with all of their powers. Superpowered villains will be depowered to an extent, technological villains will start off without their technology, you will have to use points to buy these upgrades.
